Community School Bilingual Storytime
Bring your child (ages 3-5) and join our middle school students for a bilingual (English/Spanish) story, craft, refreshments and a copy of the storybook. Community School's Bilingual Storytime is a community service project put together by our oldest middle school Spanish students. Parents should plan to attend with their child(ren). We’re excited to welcome back volunteers for our 6th Annual Community Partnership Day! Come get your hands dirty during this day of service and experience the power of community working together! We will prep flower beds, install landscaping, mulch, establish a parking area, and seed the lawn at Restoration Housing’s fifth project at 820 Dale Avenue in Southeast Roanoke. This evening will be spent memorializing a man who was a champion of Roanoke and taught so many the “Joy of Service”. The celebration, which is open to the public, will take place in the parking lot next to First Christian Church, 344 Church Ave SW, Roanoke, VA, from 5 PM - 7 PM.
