The Pathway to a Healthy Roanoke Valley

January 23, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

In 2012, Carilion Clinic conducted the first of its triennial Community Health Assessments, a community driven process that identified key needs and disparities in the Roanoke Valley. That same year, Healthy Roanoke Valley was formed to address the priority areas identified in the assessment. Since that time, over 160 community members, stakeholders and leaders have worked collectively in partnership with Carilion Clinic and Healthy Roanoke Valley to implement strategies and programs to improve the health outcomes of those living, working and playing in the Roanoke Valley.

It is time to reflect back on the progress we have made in the past 5 years while looking forward to where we need to go as a community to shape a long-lasting culture of health. You are invited to attend “The Pathway to a Healthy Roanoke Valley” on Tuesday January 23, 2018. In addition to celebrating our successes, we will conduct a Stakeholder Focus Group that evening to hear from you, the leaders in our community, about what are the next steps in this work! If you can’t attend, we hope you will make your voice heard by completing the stakeholder survey for the Community Health Asessment at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2018CHStakeholder.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided. Registration and networking will begin at 5:00 p.m., and our program will go from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you there!
