For two hours’ worth of free professional development training, consider participating in Stewards of Children. The program is video-based, with facilitator-led discussion after each of two video segments. Participants receive an instructive workbook, a Professional Development certificate, and information that could save a child’s life or quality of life. The training is not fear-based but empowering, teaching adults to prevent, identify, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.

In-person training will take place at the Children’s Trust office, 4519 Brambleton Avenue, on Wednesday, September 29, 5:30-7:30 PM; limit 15 with:

1) RSVP (Donna.Britt@roact.org or 344-3579, ext. 13)

2) mask/facial covering, and

3) proof of COVID vaccination or negative test 72 hours prior to training.
