The Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA) is hosting a free Nonprofit Finance Summit on Monday, Nov. 14 from 10 – 4:00 p.m. at the South County Library in Roanoke. The Summit will include both a morning seminar and afternoon breakout sessions focusing on specific nonprofit finance topics. The seminar from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. will be led by VSCPA member Jim Cole, CPA, who has more than 30 years of experience with nonprofits and businesses. It is designed to give a better understanding of the important, and often challenging, financial considerations faced by nonprofit organizations.
