This is a class designed for individuals interested in becoming treatment foster parents in Roanoke and surrounding areas, through Alliance Human Services. This is a 30 hour training, free to those individuals who meet the requirements to become licensed foster parents with Alliance Human Services. Our offices are located in Roanoke and Danville. Alliance is looking for compassionate men and women from diverse populations, who are willing to open their hearts and homes to children in order to make a difference.

Alliance Human Services, Inc. is a non-profit Treatment Foster Care provider, established in 1998. Currently, Alliance is established in the states of California, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Virginia, serving hundreds of children. Our Virginia offices are located in Danville, Lynchburg, and in Roanoke.

Alliance Human Services, Inc. provides treatment foster care services to children and at-risk youth who have emotional or behavioral disorders, developmental disabilities, or are medically fragile.

The most important aspect of Alliance’s foster care program is the matching and placing of children in the homes of trained foster parents. Here, under the specialized care of a multi-disciplinary team and the close support and supervision of a foster parent, the individual receives active support services to live a full and healthy life.

Alliance provides foster parents free training and skill development. We also provide reimbursement to meet the children’s needs, along with in-home support, support groups, and the chance to make a positive impact on a child’s life.
