Hike for Hospice

$20 – $25The 3rd annual NRV Hike for Hospice is right around the corner. There may still be some snow on the ground, but think ahead with us to a warm spring afternoon by the lake shore!
You can register now online in advance by clicking the button below. Only those who pre-register in advance are guaranteed to receive one of our unique NRV Hike for Hospice participant t-shirts!
Teams are welcome and encouraged!
Day of event registration will also be available from 1:30pm until 2:00pm.

$20.00 Student
$20.00 Team (4 or more members)
*Day of registration costs increase by $5.00
Dogs are permitted at Claytor Lake State Park as long as they are on a leash and have their rabies tag.
Please wear appropriate hiking/outdoor shoes to this event!

| *Lunch off the grill provided by Hethwood Market Catering – Burgers, Hotdogs, Veggie Burgers, sides and fixings
*Ice Cream for each participant
*Live Bluegrass music provided by the talented Eastern Divide Band (Bring a camp chair or blanket with you to relax and enjoy the music after your hike!)
*Games – Cornhole, Jumbo Jenga, Horseshoes, and more
*Fishing – Claytor Lake State Park will provide the fishing poles, just remember to bring your fishing license!
*A “Puppy Kissing Booth” featuring Good Sam’s own licensed therapy dog, Roux, and his human Pat. Kisses and Cuddles from Roux for a suggested donation of $1 each, so bring your cash!
*Face Painting for the young and young at heart
*Three different group hikes to choose from at varying degrees of difficulty and lead by park rangers and naturalists
*A memorial ceremony with a dove release will be held at the end of the event |
