Join the Council of Community Services’ Drop-In Center to learn practical strategies for

  • reducing negative consequences associated with drug use

  • promoting the health and dignity of individuals and communities impacted by drug use

  • advancing harm reduction policies, programs, and practices

  • understanding that social inequality and injustice magnify drug-related harm

(Attendees who stay for the entire conference and complete a survey will be entered into a drawing for a $25.00 Amazon gift card!)

After the conference, from 2PM – 4PM, the Drop-In Center will hold a focus group of 6-10 individuals (group will be chosen at random from those who express interest in participating) to discuss harm reduction framework and ways that such a framework could be utilized in work with individuals at risk of acquiring HIV and/or Hepatitis C. This focus group will also identify practical skills to develop for working with the most challenging clients to increase their overall health and wellbeing.

*Focus group participants will each receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
