2nd Annual Intersections of Violence: Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child Abuse Conference

$125The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to announce that registration is open for the 2nd Annual Intersections of Violence: Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child Abuse Conference. This multidisciplinary conference is sponsored by DCJS, in partnership with the Commonwealth’s Attorneys’ Services Council, the Virginia Victim Assistance Network, and the Virginia Victims Fund. The three-day conference brings together law enforcement, prosecutors, victim advocates, child advocates, and other allied professionals to highlight promising practices and emerging issues to effectively respond to domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse in our communities.
The conference will include several internationally and nationally renowned presenters, including retired Texas Chief Justice Richard Barajas, David Adams, Kevin Mulcahy, Justice 3D, and staff from the National Sexual Violence Resource Center.

Limited scholarships are available to cover the costs of registration and lodging for law enforcement, child advocates, and child welfare workers. You must apply by April 13, 2018 to be considered.
